Q1. What is Ms Diva Australia MIQ?

A1. This is a personality based contest where we encourage women to come out of their comfort zones and make a difference within the community.

Q2. When did you start organizing these events?

A2: Our first event was held in 2012.

Q3: Why do adult women take part in this?

A3: It is a great experience for women to promote themselves, voice their opinion, get involved with the community, network, promote a special cause, fulfil personal goals, focus on their fitness, make friends and have fun.

Q4: What are the benefits for adult women to take part? In other words what is the value in it?

A4: It allows women to gain confidence, self-awareness and motivates women towards personal growth and supports community in various ways.

Q5: Who can take part in it?

A5: Kids, Teens, Adults.

Q6: Is this a local Pageant?

A6: It is an International Multicultural Pageant. Anyone belonging to any community can take part in it.

Q7: Is it a one day event?

A7: There are sub-events and training events leading up to the main event.

Q8: What do winners get?

A8: A Pageant experience, prizes, awards, recognition, and an opportunity to build their modelling portfolio (for those interested in pursuing modelling).

Q9: The title mentions Ms Diva, does it include Miss or Mrs?

A9: As the judging is based mainly on personality and attitude and not just on external appearance, the Ms title includes both Miss and Mrs. There is no discrimination based on age, height, community or marital status.

Q10 A: What are the benefits for kids and teens?

Ans: It improves self-confidence, social skills, people skills and public speaking skills.

Q10 B: What are the age categories in kids and teens?

Ans: 5-9 year old; 10-12 year old; and 13-17 year old (Teens).
